A monoblock filling machine combines the filling station and the capping (sealing) station into a single integrated machine frame on a shared baseplate. Bottles enter the monoblock on a star-wheel conveyor, receive their fill at the filling station, then transfer without leaving the machine to the capping head where the cap is applied and torqued. Monoblock machines are more compact than separate filler + capper systems, improve hygiene by minimising the open-container time between filling and capping, and reduce the conveyor gap where contamination can occur. They are the standard configuration for pharmaceutical, beverage and cosmetic fill-and-cap lines.

Compact footprint: monoblock reduces line length by 40–60% compared to separate filler and capper with connecting conveyor. Reduced open-container exposure: the container travels from fill to cap in 1–3 seconds inside the machine, minimising airborne contamination window. Synchronised speed: filler and capper run at exactly the same speed — no buffer conveyor, no speed-matching issues. Easier validation: one machine with one validation package. Lower total installed cost for complete lines. Limitation: less flexible for format changes — capping tooling and filling tooling must both be changed simultaneously.

Screw cap (standard): GPI 400 (28mm, 38mm, 48mm), PCO 1881 (beverage), CRC (child-resistant). Torque range: 5–30 N·cm. ROPP cap: aluminium roll-on pilfer-proof cap for spirits, wine and pharmaceutical. Requires ROPP head with vertical and horizontal knife rollers. Snap cap: push-down press-on cap for cosmetics, pharmaceutical and cleaning products. Pump or trigger: dispensing pump or trigger sprayer requiring separate cap inserter module. Each cap type requires a dedicated cap-delivery system (hopper + elevator + sorter + orientor) integrated with the monoblock frame.
