Vantagens

Multi-Lane VFFS Up to 200 SPM

Vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) technology forms the sachet from flat rollstock film, fills and seals in one continuous vertical motion. Multi-lane configurations (2–8 lanes) run in parallel to reach 200 sachets/min or more. Output scales with lane count — add lanes without replacing the base machine.

📏

1 ml to 100 ml — Precise Single Dose

Servo piston or peristaltic pump fill delivers ±1%–±2% accuracy at volumes as small as 1 ml. Ideal for single-serve condiment packets, travel cosmetics, pharmaceutical oral liquid sachets and water sachets. Fill volume changes are recipe-based — update the target fill on the HMI in under 30 seconds.

🎬

Flexible Film: PE, PP, Foil Laminate

Runs plain PE film, PP/PE laminate, aluminium foil laminate and metallized film up to 100 µm thick. Back-seal and 3-side-seal sachet styles selectable by format. Servo film drive maintains consistent registration with pre-printed graphics — no sachet-to-sachet print shift at high speed.

FAQ

What is a sachet filling machine and how does it work?
A sachet filling machine (also called VFFS liquid sachet machine) uses vertical form-fill-seal technology to produce small liquid packets from a flat reel of film. The process: (1) Film unrolls from the reel and is pulled down over a forming tube. (2) A longitudinal back-sealer creates the back seal to form a tube. (3) A cross-seal bar seals the bottom of the sachet. (4) A servo piston or peristaltic pump dispenses the measured liquid dose. (5) The top cross-seal bar seals and cuts the sachet from the film tube. Output rates reach 200 sachets/min on multi-lane machines. Common applications: water sachets, ketchup packets, condiment sachets, shampoo sachets, pharmaceutical oral liquids, cosmetic sample sachets.
What fill volumes can a sachet filling machine handle?
Minimum fill: 1 ml (single-use saline, sample cosmetics). Standard range: 5–50 ml (ketchup packets, shampoo sachets, sauce portions). Extended range: 50–100 ml (larger single-serve portions, liquid meal supplements, oral rehydration sachets). Volume accuracy: ±1%–±2% volumetric at small volumes (1–10 ml); improves to ±0.5%–±1% at volumes above 20 ml. Minimum volume is limited by the pump dead volume and fill time at the rated line speed — discuss your minimum fill requirement with HEMUfill engineers.
What liquids can go in a sachet?
Water-thin liquids (1–10 cP): water, thin juice, vinegar, saline, pharmaceutical oral solutions — high speed, peristaltic pump preferred. Low viscosity (10–500 cP): diluted juice, liquid soap, hand sanitizer, condiment sauce — piston or peristaltic pump. Medium viscosity (500–5,000 cP): ketchup, mustard, salad dressing, honey (warmed), shampoo — piston filler with adequate nozzle bore. Note: products with particulates above 3 mm are not recommended for standard sachet machines — they can jam the cross-seal bars. Use the pouch filling machine for chunky products.
What film materials work with a sachet filling machine?
PE (polyethylene): lowest cost, good for water sachets and non-food applications. Food-grade approved. PP/PE laminate: better barrier, printable, common for food condiments and cosmetics. Aluminium foil laminate (PET/foil/PE): excellent gas and light barrier, for pharmaceutical sachets, coffee creamers, pharma oral liquids. Metallised film (PET/metPET/PE): good barrier, printable, lower cost than foil laminate. Common for condiments and cosmetics. All films must be supplied as reels compatible with the machine's film-width specification. Pre-printed films must use consistent printing registration marks for the servo film drive to track.
How fast does a sachet filling machine run?
Single-lane sachet machine: 30–80 sachets/min (standard); 100–150 sachets/min (high-speed servo). This gives 1,800–9,000 sachets/hr per lane. Multi-lane configurations (2, 4 or 8 lanes in parallel): multiply by lane count — 4-lane machine at 80 SPM/lane = 320 sachets/min total = 19,200 sachets/hr. Speed depends on fill volume (longer fill time = lower speed), liquid viscosity, film heat-seal temperature and sachet size. At 5 ml fill, typical speed is 60–80 SPM. At 50 ml fill, typical speed is 30–50 SPM.
What is the price of a sachet filling machine?
Single-lane semi-automatic sachet machine (manual film load, 10–30 SPM): $5,000–$12,000. Single-lane automatic VFFS sachet machine (30–80 SPM): $15,000–$35,000. Single-lane high-speed servo sachet machine (80–150 SPM): $35,000–$60,000. 2-lane automatic sachet machine (80–160 SPM): $45,000–$80,000. 4-lane high-speed sachet line (120–320 SPM): $80,000–$160,000.
