How does an auger filling machine work?▾
An auger powder filling machine uses a rotating helical screw (the auger) inside a fill tube to dose powder. When the auger rotates a precise number of turns — controlled by a servo motor and encoder — it displaces a consistent volume of powder into the container below. Best-suited powders: fine to medium granularity, consistent density, moderate flowability.
